How do I make a Windows PC an RDP-only terminal?
Install XPC on the Windows PC and enable XPC Mode from the XPC Cloud Portal. Instead of the Windows desktop, the user sees a branded access screen with the RDP or Remote Desktop Services connections you have approved, and can launch, disconnect, restart or shut down. The Windows operating system underneath is untouched, so your session hosts, gateway, licensing, group policy and endpoint tooling all continue to work as configured.

Does XPC work with Remote Desktop Services and session hosts?
Yes. XPC presents and launches the RDP connections you configure; the server-side platform is unchanged.
Can XPC launch a connection automatically at sign-in?
Yes. Connections can be presented on a single access screen or launched automatically, depending on how you configure the device group.
Is a gateway or VPN still supported?
Yes. XPC does not change how the network path is established; your existing gateway or VPN approach continues to apply.
Do users keep local printer access?
Windows and its drivers stay in place, so peripheral behaviour follows your existing RDP redirection configuration.
